Ingredients

For the Salmon

  • 4 salmon fillets about 6 ounces each
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Honey Garlic Glaze

  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes optional

Garnish

  • Fresh parsley chopped
  • Sesame seeds optional
  • Lemon wedges

Instructions

Season the Salmon

  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and season both sides with salt and black pepper.

Air Fry the Salmon

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
  • Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Air fry for 8–10 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Prepare the Honey Garlic Glaze

  • While the salmon cooks, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl.
  • Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Pour in the honey garlic mixture and cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce begins to thicken and become glossy.

Glaze the Salmon

  • Add the cooked salmon fillets to the skillet and gently spoon the sauce over each piece.
  • Let the salmon simmer in the glaze for 1–2 minutes, allowing the flavors to coat the fish and the sauce to thicken slightly.

Serve

  • Transfer the salmon to a serving platter and drizzle with any remaining glaze from the skillet.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley, sesame seeds, and lemon wedges before serving.
